Following the success of Yoyo & The Little Auk, Yoyo is ready for her next adventure!

Created in partnership with the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, The Adventures of Yoyo features four brand-new, short animated films which will be released online with learning resources and also brought together at Yoyo & The Big Sleepover, a free, live concert experience to be performed across Scotland in 2026. The learning resources and films will be available in English with British Sign Language (BSL) and in Gaelic.

Written by Stewart Ennis, animated by Gavin C Robinson and brought to life by original music by Euan Stevenson and narration by Jo Cameron Brown, The Adventures of Yoyo are the perfect introduction to classical music and storytelling for children from Nursery to Primary 3, exploring themes of community, kindness and multiculturalism along the way.

Some of you may have met Yoyo already through the story of Yoyo & The Little Auk! Yoyo is a little girl who lives in Inverkithkin – a charming town smack bang in the middle of Scotland. In her latest adventure she must use her imagination to help her grannies and grandpas prepare for the town’s bedtime concert. Grandpa Yousef hasn’t finished his big quilt. Granny Zaina’s special butter lamps are broken. Grandpa Zigzag doesn’t have the ingredients to make his potato pancakes. And Granny Flo is all of a dither – she simply can’t remember her favourite lullaby!

DIGITAL CONTENT

A suite of free digital content including the four animated films, learning resources, a Yoyo & The Big Sleepover digital experience, livestream and content with BSL and Gaelic provision will released throughout early 2026.

The first animated film, Yoyo & The Patchwork Quilt and accompanying learning resource are available now.
